Ryan Berryman is a retired social worker with San Bernardino County, Children and Families Services, after providing over twenty (20) years of dedicated service. His experience involved the challenges of working with at-risk families and vulnerable children to ensure children’s overall safety. Mr. Berryman’s personal and professional experience has gifted him the ability to emotionally connect with individuals and families from various social economic, ethnicities, racial backgrounds. Mr. Berryman received his Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science with a Minor in Criminal Justice in 1980 and a Master’s Degree in Social Work degree in 2008. He has received a slew of certificates and recognitions from various trainings, workshops and seminars in working with children and families. In 2016, Mr. Berryman founded San Bernardino Fatherhood, (aka, SB Fatherhood) a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) charitable, which provides educational (and evidence-based) services for fathers, as well as community activities that are father-friendly and father focused>. He is also a strong advocate for father inclusion and responsible fatherhood in the lives of children and families. Mr. Berryman has been a resident of San Bernardino County for over forty-two (42) years. He is a devout follower of Jesus Christ. He recently married his “childhood” friend and wife, Rose, in May 2023, after being a widower for 8 years. He is the proud father of two (2) adult children and nine (9) grandchildren.
