Monarch Academy for Neurodiverse Youth
476 Riverside Dr, Jacksonville, CA 32202
My commitment to health equity is grounded in the belief that healing must be accessible, culturally responsive, and individually attuned. As a clinician, educator, and systems navigator, I have witnessed how racism, ableism, and diagnostic bias shape the quality of care—especially for Black, Latinx, and neurodivergent communities. Through my work, I strive to disrupt these inequities by amplifying lived experience, reducing diagnostic harm, and empowering families to demand care that honors their full humanity. Health equity, for me, means reimagining wellness as something that includes sensory needs, cultural values, intergenerational context, and community-rooted knowledge. It also means doing the work from the inside out—practicing humility, unlearning biases, and making space for the brilliance of minds that don’t fit the mold. I am committed to building bridges between systems and the people they are meant to serve—with clarity, compassion, and radical respect.
